Apple has released FaceTime for Mac beta for download. Announced during this morning’s “Back to the Mac” media event, FaceTime for Mac allows you to make video call to iPhone 4.
Setup is simple, just signin using your Apple ID or MobileMe account. There is not much else to configure before you can make your first call, FaceTime for Mac automatically retrieves your contacts from the Address Book for a quick dial.
When you are video chatting with friend with an iPhone 4, FaceTime for Mac display the video following the orientation of iPhone 4. When you friend turns the iPhone 4 to landslide orientation, FaceTime for Mac will switch to display the video accordingly.
