Intel recalls Sandy Bridge CPUs due to chipset design flaw, possible delay for new MacbookPro?

Intel has issued recalls to its recently launched Sandy Bridge Core i5 and Core i7 CPUs, due to design flaw with its SATA controller. All new shipments meanwhile have been stopped, waiting for the fixed deliveries.

This might or might not delay the launch date for the rumored new MacBook Pro refresh. Macbook Pro supplies is reported running low and tightened about a week ago, a situation that usually signals new product refreshes in the past. Many expect the new MacBook Pro to use the new Sandy Bridge CPUs.
