Google has announced a price reduction for its storage plan for Google Drive. 100GB is now at $1.99 per month down from $4.99. 1TB will cost you $9.99 per month, down from previously $49.99. The 15GB plan remains free. Google Drive storage is used across Gmail, Drive and Google+ Photos.
In comparison, Dropbox charges $9.99 per month for 100GB of storage. This price reduction is definitely putting some pressure on Dropbox. Dropbox currently has a better client, delta sync, and more third party apps support. But if you’re relying heavily on Google apps, this price reduction is tempting for you to sign up and/or jump ship from Dropbox.
