Text is boring and just plain when it comes to naming your folder in iOS. Why not add a bit of flare by using icon for your folder names? With the build-in Emoji keyboard in iOS, adding icon to folder name is as simple as entering “abc”.
First you must enable Emoji keyboard at Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards. Tap on Add New Keyboard… and select Emoji from the list.
On iOS home screen, touch and hold any app icon until app icons wiggle to enter the edit mode. Tap the folder that you want the name changed. Tap on the large folder name on top to bring up the keyboard.
Tap on the globe icon on the keyboard to toggle to the Emoji keyboard. And pick the icon from the list to enter it into the folder name. Save your changes and press the home button to exit the home screen edit mode.
