Here’s a keyboard shortcuts in OS X Finder that you might missed even if you’ve been using the Mac for ages. 

Command-1 – display files and folders in icon view (View As Icon)
Command-2 – display files and folders in list view (View As List)
Command-3 – display files and folders in column view (View As Columns)
Command-4 – display files and folders in Cover Flow view (View As Cover Flow)

Instead of using the menu or clicking on the toolbar icon, these keyboard shortcuts could come handy for a quick change of Finder view.
