The popular Mac photo editing app Pixelmator has announced a sneak preview of version 2 coming this summer. The major release will include vector drawing and content-aware fill among others, making Pixelmator the best replacement for Adobe Photoshop on the Mac. In fact the feature set is adequate for most web/design work, at a much more affordable price.
Pixelmator 2 will be priced at $59. If you purchased the version 1.x app from Mac App Store at $29, it will be a free upgrade when Pixelmator 2 is released.
